In the Short-Term Care Unit, there is the possibility of performing medical operations that require a short (up to 12 hours) stay of the patients and concern cases of many medical specialties.
Diagnostic, surgical, or therapeutic services for which no general anesthesia is required may be provided.
General medicine and pathology cases will be treated, ophthalmological, rheumatological, ENT, orthopedic, gynecological, dermatological, etc., as well as minor surgeries, the treatment of which requires the administration of light anesthesia (intoxicants) treatment, such as cases of dehydration, vomiting or colic, and respiratory distress in cognitive lung disease.
