Pediatrics is the medical industry that deals with childcare of infants, children and teenagers and the age limit usually ranges from birth to age 18 years. A doctor, who specializes in this field is known as a pediatrician. The word pediatrician means a child therapist. It comes from two Greek words: the child and the doctor.
