Internal pathology, also known in Greece simply as pathology (International Term: Internal Medicine), is a clinical specialty of medicine involved in prevention, diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of adult diseases (non-pediatric) patients, with particular emphasis in the internal organs of the human body. It is a basic science of clinical medicine and therapeutic (as opposed to the diagnostic specialties sector, such as medical biopathology or radiodilation).
